The slots are cut so a cable clicks in with a press and stays put — but slides out when you pull the plug. No clamping, no wrapping, no velcro to undo. Unplug the laptop, the cable waits on the desk.

Wipe the edge
Wipe the spot clean and dry — usually the back edge of the desk.
Peel & press
Peel the red liner, press for 30 seconds. Give the adhesive an hour before loading it.
Click the cables in
Push each cable into a slot. To move it later, pull the clip slowly at a low angle.

Will it hold a heavy braided cable?
Yes, anything up to 6 mm — braided USB-C and Lightning included. Not HDMI or a laptop power brick; those go in the cable tray.
Can I move it once it's stuck?
Yes. Pull slowly at a low angle and it comes off clean. Any double-sided mounting tape re-sticks it.
Does it work on a glass desk?
Yes — wipe it first. On a standing desk, stick it to the underside or the back edge of the top.
